Team India made an impressive debut at the WorldSkills Asia Competition 2025 held from 27–29 November 2025 in Chinese Taipei (Taiwan). Represented by 23 competitors and 21 experts, India competed in 21 emerging and high-demand skills ranging from Mobile Robotics and Mechatronics to Web Development, Beauty Therapy, Fashion Technology, and more.

Selected through the IndiaSkills Competition 2024, the team underwent five months of intensive training supported by leading academic and industry partners such as JK Cement, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, LTA Academy of Beauty, Mahindra University, and others.

Competing against participants from nearly 40 Asian and guest nations, India showcased exceptional technical talent, discipline, innovation, and national pride. The team’s strong performance in its first-ever appearance marked a significant milestone in strengthening India’s global presence in the skills movement.

The 3rd WorldSkills Asia Competition (WSAC) was hosted in Chinese Taipei (Taiwan) from 27–29 November 2025. With over 500 competitors from 29 Asian and guest countries, the event featured 44 skill categories including official, junior, and exhibition skills.

WS Asia 2025 served as a premier platform for showcasing Asian talent, advancing global skill standards, and promoting education, industry collaboration, tourism, and international exchange. The event attracted strong participation from industry leaders, government delegations, and academic institutions, and concluded on 29 November 2025, reinforcing cooperation and skill excellence across the region.
